1/ Rename the file New-Dell-Logo-White-Small
- Step 1 : Dell users press Windows + E to open File Explorer > Then, find drive C (This PC) and open the Program Files folder .
- Step 2 : Click on the Dell folder and continue to open the SupportAssistAgent folder .
- Step 3 : Continue to double-click the bin folder to open Resource .

2/ Reinstall Dell SupportAssist

Check for viruses and malware: Windows + I > Update & Security > Windows Security > Open Windows Security > When the new window displays, click Run a new advanced scan > Select Full scan > click Scan now .
In case SupportAssist cannot be installed
In case you receive the message 'Installation failed error' when reinstalling Dell SupportAssist. First, try restarting your computer. Note, with the error 'SupportAssist is running a system scan to detect any Potential hardware problems', you can also try rebooting.

Stage 1: Uninstall the software
- Step 1 : Press Windows + R > Enter appwiz.cpl and press Enter .
- Step 2 : Right-click Dell SupportAssist > When the context menu displays, click Uninstall > Click Yes when asked for confirmation > Restart your computer.
Stage 2: Remove Dell service

If these services still exist, now you need to click on the magnifying glass search icon > Type Command Prompt > Click to open with Run as Administrator .
When the Admin Command Prompt panel displays, enter the following commands and press Enter after each command to delete them:
- sc delete 'DellClientManagementService'
- sc delete 'SupportAssistAgent'
- sc delete 'DDVDataCollector'
- sc delete 'DDVRulesProcessor'
- sc delete 'DDVCollectorSvcApi'
- sc delete 'DellTechHub'
Stage 3: Delete supporting files
- Step 1 : Press Windows + E > Paste the link below
- C:ProgramDataDell
- Step 2 : Right-click SupportAssist and select Delete .
- Step 3 : If required, click Continue > Wait for the deletion process to complete, then restart the computer.
